Draft, live, and offline
The three states a funnel can be in, what each means for responders, and the editing lock.

New funnels start as drafts. Publish moves a funnel to live. From live you can take it offline, and from offline you can move it back to draft or publish it again.
The editing lock
While a funnel is live you can change wording, but you cannot add, delete, or reorder pages and blocks, change radio options, or change the slug. The editor shows a banner when the lock is active.
This exists to protect your data. Answers are stored against block identifiers, so removing a block from a funnel that has already collected responses would orphan those answers and make the results for that funnel inconsistent. Locking the structure keeps every submission comparable to every other one.
Making a structural change to a live funnel
- 1 Take the funnel offline.
- 2 Make your changes and save.
- 3 Publish again.
What taking a funnel offline does not do
It does not delete anything. Submissions, contacts, and results stay exactly as they were and remain fully accessible. Offline only affects whether new responders can reach the funnel.
