Privacy policy

Last updated 25 August 2026

Funnelea is operated by [Company legal name], [Registered address]. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. It covers two very different groups of people, and the difference matters.

Two roles, two relationships

Account holders Funnel responders
WhoPeople who sign up and build funnelsPeople who complete a published funnel
Our roleData controllerData processor, on the account holder's behalf
Their controllerUsThe account holder whose funnel they completed

If you completed someone's funnel and want your data removed, contact the business whose funnel you filled in. They control that data; we only store it for them. We will assist them in acting on your request.

What we collect from account holders

  • Account details: your name, email address, a hashed password, and an avatar if you upload one
  • Content you create: funnels, pages, blocks, themes, and settings
  • Technical data needed to serve the application, including request logs

We do not sell account data, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.

What is collected from responders

Whatever the account holder's funnel asks for. Typically that means the answers given, and an email address, name, or phone number where the funnel requests them. We do not add fields to anyone's funnel, and we do not collect data from responders for our own purposes.

Responder data is stored against the account holder's workspace and is visible only to them. It is never shared with other customers and is never used to build any cross-customer profile.

Cookies and local storage

We use browser local storage to keep you signed in between visits. That is a functional necessity rather than a choice: without it you would be signed out on every page load. We do not run third-party advertising or analytics trackers on the public funnel runner.

Where data is stored

Data is stored on infrastructure operated by [hosting provider] in [region]. A current list of the third parties that process data on our behalf is available on request from support@funnelea.com.

How long we keep it

  • Account data: for as long as the account exists
  • Funnels, submissions, and contacts: until you delete them, or until the account is deleted
  • Deleting your account removes your workspace and everything in it, with no recovery window
  • Backups and operational logs are retained for [retention period] and then discarded

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, to object to processing, or to complain to a supervisory authority. To exercise any of these, write to support@funnelea.com.

You can export submissions as CSV and delete your account yourself at any time from within the product, without contacting us.

Your obligations as an account holder

Because you decide what your funnels ask for, you are responsible for having a lawful basis for collecting it, telling responders what you will do with it, obtaining consent where your jurisdiction requires it, and honouring requests from the people you collect data about.

Changes

If we change this policy materially we will tell account holders by email before the change takes effect.
